Heat is the design constraint
Phoenix runs hotter and longer than Tucson. Equipment choice, orientation and shade decide whether a play structure gets used for four months a year or ten. We plan for canopy roofs, shade sails and surfacing that does not turn into a griddle in July.
Material quality is not a luxury purchase
