Most Oro Valley communities run active HOAs with rules covering structure height, color, placement and visibility from the street or from neighboring view corridors. Before you buy, pull your CC&Rs and check what is allowed. We can provide dimensions, colors and photos of a proposed set so you can submit a clean approval request the first time.
Shade matters more here than you think
North-side lots with western exposure take brutal afternoon sun. A cedar set with a canopy roof and a shade structure over the play area is the difference between equipment your kids use from October through April and equipment they use year-round.
Desert landscaping and surfacing
Decomposed granite is the default in most Oro Valley yards, and it is not a safety surface. Under and around a play structure you want proper rubber mulch or another rated surfacing to the correct depth across the full use zone.
