How do I know what size swing set fits my yard?
Measure your usable space, then remember a play structure needs clearance well beyond its own footprint: room for the swing arc in front and behind, and clear space at the bottom of every slide. Send us dimensions and photos and we will tell you honestly what fits, including when the answer is a smaller set than you had in mind.
Can we see the equipment before buying?
Yes, and we recommend it. Our showroom at 5128 N Casa Grande Hwy has sets assembled so children can climb, swing and slide on them. Watching which one your child gravitates toward beats any catalog.
What makes a cedar set better in Arizona?
Desert sun is brutal on outdoor equipment. Quality cedar handles heat and UV far better than low-grade lumber or plastic-heavy sets, which fade, become brittle and split. See our swing sets.
What is the best time of year to buy?
Fall and winter are our favorite recommendation, because installation is comfortable and your kids get the equipment right as Tucson enters its best outdoor months. Holiday orders should be placed early to be safe on timing.

How much is delivery?
A flat $299 anywhere in Arizona.
Do you install, or is it DIY?
We offer professional delivery and installation. Some customers do assemble their own, but a large cedar structure is a serious project, and the most common repair calls we get involve DIY assembly issues. See our services.
How long does installation take?
It depends on the size of the structure and site access. We give you a time estimate when we schedule.
What do you need from me before install day?
Clear access to the yard, a level or workable site, and any HOA approval already in hand. If a gate is too narrow for equipment, tell us in advance.
HOA, Permits and Rules
Do I need HOA approval?
Most Tucson-area master-planned communities require it for structures over a certain height. Check your CC&Rs before ordering. We can provide dimensions, colors and photos for your submission.
Do I need a permit?
For most residential backyard play equipment, generally not, but requirements vary by jurisdiction and by structure. Commercial installations are a different matter. Tell us where the site is and we will tell you what applies.
Safety
What surfacing do we need under a play set?
Not decomposed granite and not bare desert soil. You want a rated safety surface at proper depth across the full use zone. Rubber mulch is the most popular choice for Arizona backyards.
How hot does equipment get in summer?
Hot enough to matter. Slides, decks and dark surfacing in direct sun can become uncomfortable or unsafe well before the air temperature peaks. Shade is the fix. See shade structures and our child safety guidance.
Are trampolines safe?
They are as safe as the rules around them. Enclosure nets, one jumper at a time, no somersaults, and placement away from walls and hard edges eliminate most injuries. See our trampolines.
Maintenance and Service
How do I maintain a cedar set in the desert?
Check and tighten hardware seasonally, inspect swing hangers and chains, keep surfacing at depth, and re-seal the wood periodically. Sun and monsoon are hard on everything outdoors here.
Can you repair or move an existing set?
Tell us what you have and send photos. We handle service and repair work.

Do you do schools, HOAs and parks?
Yes. Commercial playgrounds are a significant part of our business, including safety surfacing, shade and the documentation boards and districts need for approval.
